General Information

Significant hazards and risks - Safety

*1.Is there a risk of electrocution and death?

*2.Is there a risk of impact injuries arising from recoiling from contact with live electrical parts?

Significant hazards and risks - Health

*3. Is there a risk of electrical burns?

*4. Is there a risk of inhalation of smoke and toxic fumes?

Significant hazards and risks - Environment

*5. Is there a risk of noxious fumes from the ignition of combustible materials?

Significant hazards and risks - Managerial/supervisory tasks (including pre-planning)

*6. Do contractors have a safe isolation procedure in place and have they explained it to you?

*7. Have you been informed each time before the safe isolation procedure is used?

*8. As far as possible, have checks been periodically made to ensure the procedure is being usedproperly?

*9. Have other trades been contacted, as necessary, when isolated circuits or equipment could affecttheir safety?

*10. Have training records been inspected to confirm that those involved in operating the safeisolation procedure are competent to do so?
