*2. Established load is within the safe working load of the lifting equipment.
*3. The load rigged to its centre of gravity.
*4. Tag line provided to control movement of the load.
*5. The load being lifted in a level and stable manner.
*1. The selected lifting equipment fit for the purpose and appropriate for the lifting operation.
*2. The lifting equipment been examined at least once in the last 12 months (or 6 months for those for lifting persons) by an authorised examiner and does it posses a valid lifting equipment certificate.
*3. The lifting equipment is marked conspicuously with the maximum working load that it can safely carry.
*1. Lifting plan available for the operation
*2. Risk Assessment has been conducted to ensure that all possible hazards are identified and risk reduced.
*3. Identified and implemented control measure(s).
*4. Area for lifting the load and the lifting path has been cleared of obstruction and personnel.
*5. Designated area for placing the load has been cleared or properly prepared prior to the lifting operation
*6. Safe means of access or egress been provided for personnel to attach or detach the rigging of the load.
*7. Means of communication has been established and confirmed.
*8. Lifting zone has been barricaded to prevent access by unauthorised personnel.
*1. Lifting personnel is trained and competent.
*2. All lifting personnel such as operator, lifting supervisor, signalman and rigger are briefed at toolbox or pre-lifting meeting
